HOPE FOR ALL Classes Offered

Our teaching philosophy is to offer students a combination of academic and vocational training. We believe that supplementing a traditional academic curriculum with practical job skills training will give our students the best chance at gaining secure and meaningful employment upon graduation. With over 30% recorded unemployment in Cameroon we feel strongly that these additional skills will give them the upper hand in our difficult economic environment. Classes we offer include:

- Mathematics - Moto Mechanics

- French Language - Arts & Crafts

- Environmental Studies - Plumbing

- Geography - Electricity

- History - Architecture

- Writing - Building & Construction

- Home Economics - Furniture

- Civics - Hair Dressing

- Health Science - Carpentry

- Drawing - Tailoring

- Computer Science - Industry Skills

- Religious & Bible Studies - ICT Training

- Animal Husbandry (including poultry, fishery, and piggery)

Supplies Needed

As we continue to work towards fully equipping our school with the best possible resources for academic and vocational learning there are some supplies we are still seeking to obtain. We hope that by being able to provide all necessary school supplies to our students, no child will be left out due to an inability to afford even the most basic educational necessities.

Teaching Materials we always need are:

- Chalk Boards or Dry Erase Boards

- Chalk or Dry Erase Markers

- Pens & Pencils

- Rims of Paper

- Academic Textbooks

- Notebooks

- Student Backpacks

Other Classroom Facilitators necessary for HOPE FOR ALL expansion:

- Student Desks & Benches

- A Projector

- Computers or Laptops for proposed Computer Lab

- Sewing Machines

- Saws, Hammer, Triangles & Measuring Tapes for our construction learning center

- Hair Drier, Combs, Mirrors & other hair dressing materials for our hairdressing learning center

- Arts and Crafts supplies

- Plumbing Tools for our plumbing learning center

Administrative Materials:

- Printers

- A Photocopier

- A Digital Cameras

Additional supplies we hope for to supplement our Music and Sports Programs:

- Instruments: Piano, Guitar, a Drums set, Trumpets

- Speakers & Microphones

- Amplifiers & Equalizers

- Balls (footballs, baseballs, and handballs)

- Sportswear for students

Please consider helping us to reach our goals of providing a quality academic-vocational education to students in need in our community by donating or sponsoring supplies. Any little bit of help aids us in creating a safe and comfortable environment inside of which our students can have access to all the resources they need to learn.

Our Mission

HOPE FOR ALL CAMEROON is a special combination educational-vocational school developed to help children ages 5 to 12 gain not only the educational skills necessary for life but the practical job skills that will allow them to successfully find meaningful and sustainable employment. Targeting orphans, street children, and the most economically disadvantaged of the youth population, the school includes free primary education, appropriate books, pens, pencils, and all other school supplies as well as access to computers all in comfortable fully equipped classrooms. We believe that by providing students with a combination of traditional classroom knowledge and practical skill such as ICT training, tailoring, carpentry, hair dressing, construction, agriculture, and car mechanics, among other things, they will graduate better prepared to care for themselves and help their communities to break the cycle of poverty. The mission of HOPE FOR ALL is to bring hope to the hopeless children of our community, help fight poverty through education, and provide the next generation with the skills to make them more productive and successful members of our country. We hope that through our sustained efforts we can make learning once again a priority among our youth and together raise a generation of capable leaders.
